Iraqi PM, US secretary of state discuss hold phone call
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi on Tuesday, November 17, spoke over the phone with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and discussed the future cooperation between both countries and the developments in the region.
During the phone call, they also talked about developments of the mutual ties in various fields, including coordination between Iraq and the US-led Coalition Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve in the fight against Islamic State (ISIS) militants and “growing Iraqi capabilities in fighting terrorism”, according to Kadhimi’s media office.
