Osman Ocalan: PKK actions are chaotic
"The official statement from the United States and France is a shock to the PKK; they did not think that the United States would react to this. The issue of reacting, this issue has created a dichotomy between them," Osman Ocalan, a former member of the PKK leadership and the brother of the imprisoned PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan, told Bass News.
"It is clear from the US statement that Washington does not support the PKK. After the explosion of the oil pipeline and the martyrdom of the Kurdistan Peshmerga, a number of PKK leaders have realized that their actions are wrong. That is why they want to negotiate," he said.
Osman Ocalan stated that the current leadership of the PKK are destroying themselves, adding that “What they are doing is inciting war. They have restricted their activities to some villages in Kurdistan Region and are standing against the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).”
After PKK forces blew up a Kurdistan oil pipeline in October of this year, on November 29, a Peshmerga was killed by a bomb planted in Chamanki area of the Amedi district. A Peshmerga was killed and several others were wounded.
