Three New Generation MPs announce their split
Three New Generation MPs announced on Monday their split from the party's parliamentary bloc due to internal disputes.
Diysri Anwar, Sirwan Baban, and Mam Bwrhan blame in a joint statement the president of the movement, Shaswar Abdulwahid, for "derailing the faction and the movement of New Generation from its path."
They also accused the movement's leader of "exploiting" public money, BasNews reported.
The three lawmakers further revealed that they had disputes with Abdulwahid over the recent "Reform Bill" passed by the parliament which had been proposed by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to provide more certainty on the salaries of public servants, allowances, as well as pensions.
