Iraqi officials calls U.S. forces patrol in Kirkuk ‘provocative’
A member of Iraqi parliament commission of defense and security lashed out at the patrol of U.S. forces in Kirkuk, Kirkuk province, and called the move provocative.
Abbas al-Ismaeili told al-Malomeh news agency that the patrol of U.S. deputy general commander and a number of U.S. forces along with Baghdad Operation Commander Jalil al-Rabiey in al-Matnabi Street is provocative and all Iraqi citizens are against the presence of the U.S. forces in the country.
He added that his commission would hold a meeting over the move soon.
