US Department of State confirms YPG withdrawal from Manbij

The U.S. State Department confirmed the withdrawal of Syrian Kurdish forces of Peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) from Manbij, a town in northern Syria.

According to Time Turk, the Department of State confirmed that the Kurdish forces have left the city according to an agreement between Washington and Ankara.

A top official at the department of state confirmed the withdrawal of the forces in a report.

The official has confirmed that according to the deal groups of people would take the control of the city.
