Kurds political war is in Baghdad not Erbil: Qubad Talabani
A leading member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Qubad Talabani, stated that the political war that the Kurds in Iraq should launch is in Baghdad not Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region.
According to Dicle TV, Talabani who is also the deputy PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) made the remarks is an election campaign, adding that the salary crisis of the clerks of the Kurdish region should be solved in Baghdad not Erbil.
Talabani underscored that the war of the Kurds at the present time is a political one which the Kurds should fight in Baghdad not in the region.
