Iraqi PM Abadi meets Bafil Talabani
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met the chief of the Patriotic union of Kurdistan (PUK) anti-terror forces, Bafil Talabani, in Baghdad on Thursday, January 4.
According to Shar Press the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq as well as the Kurdish region in the north.
Iraqi PM office stated that the political and security situation as well as the issue of the region’s clerks and their salaries were also discussed in the briefing.
Abadi reiterated in the meeting that Baghdad would pay the salaries of the region’s public servants.
