Turkish accuses PUK, Gorran of affiliation with PKK
In an interview with Anadolu Agency, the Turkish FM claimed that the two Kurdish parties, after the September independence referendum in Kurdistan Region, started to support the PKK against the former Kurdistan Region President, Masoud Barzani "at the request of some certain countries," BasNews reported.
He further revealed that a PUK official, during a private meeting in Turkey, had told him that his Kurdish party is currently under command of the PKK.
Concerning a possible military operation against the PKK in the Iraqi and Kurdistan Region territories, Cavusoglu stated that Ankara would start talks on the matter with the US after a new government in Iraq is formed.
Turkey views the PKK as a "terrorist organization", there is therefore a military conflict between them since 1980s.
