No Peshmerga has been deployed to Khanaqin: secretary general
The Secretary General of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga, Jabbar, Yawar, denied reports that the Kurdish forces have been deployed to Khanaqin, a disputed city that was under the control of Peshmerga before October 16, 2017.
Speaking with SNN news website the Peshmerga official denied the reports that stated the Kurdish forces have been deployed to the region and are settled there.
Yawar refuted the reports as true and stated the reports are baseless, adding that no agreements have been made between Baghdad and Erbil over the deployment of the Kurdish forces to Khanaqin.
