Syrian Kurds will resume talks under US mediation: researcher
Salهh Nassa'n, a Kurdish politician and researcher in the field of politics and philosophy, referring to the process of negotiations between the ENKS and the pynk in Syria, and told KurdPress that: "The US envoy is currently in talks in Syrian Kurdistan and may seek consultations with the parties to continue the talks."
He added: "Also in Ankara, some PUK leaders held a meeting with the Americans to discuss the terms of the talks. Although no exact date has been announced for the resumption of the talks, the parties hope to resume them as soon as possible."
He added: "There are fundamental differences between the two sides that prevent the continuation of talks. Resolving these differences requires determination."
He also told KurdPress earlier about Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's threats against the Kurds in Syria that: "It is clear that the United States has a different position during the [Joe] Biden's presidency and that Turkey will not be able to pursue territorial development as before."
"Erdogan is not in good condition either inside Turkey or abroad and as in the past, he wants to use his foreign adventure in order to cover up the domestic problems."
