Masoud Barzani, Ayad Allawi Meet in Erbil

The Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and former President of the Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, met on Saturday Ayad Allawi, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, to discuss the political process in the country.

During their meeting the pair had talks on the latest political developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region as well, Barzani's office said in a statement, BasNews reported.

They also exchanged views on the relations between Erbil and Baghdad and the ways to resolve the remaining issues between the sides in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.
