PUK, KDP to hold meeting on Sunday
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) will meet on Sunday, March 3, in order to discuss finalizing a political agreement between them and the formation of the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), according to a PUK source.
“The venue of the meeting has not been determined yet. Either it will take place at [Deputy Secretary-General] Kosrat Rasoul’s house or the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s political bureau, but the day of the meeting has been settled on Sunday,” the source said, who spoke under condition of anonymity.
A KDP-affiliated media outlet said on Friday that the parties would meet on Saturday at the PUK political bureau building.
