Syria constitution passing committee will fail: official

The co-leader of the pro-Kurdish Syria Democratic Parliament believes the committee formed to pass the new Syria constitution will fail to achive its goals as there are not all sides in the talks to form the constitution.

Ryaz Darar stressed in an interview with Kurdistan 24 that a delegation has to be formed to form a new constitution for Syria, claiming that some states interfere in forming the members of the committee.
Most of Syrian sides are not in the committee and do not have any representative in the body which is not independent, Darar said, adding that Syria needs an independent committee to form its constitution and decide its future.
