Erbil ready to cooperate with Iraqi army: PM Barzani
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani stated Erbil's readiness for military and security cooperation with the Iraqi army in fighting against terror.
Meeting a delegation from the anti-IS international coalition, led by General Volter Payet, Barzani expressed Erbil's readiness for the cooperation.
The two sides also discussed in the meeting on Tuesday the latest developments in Iraq and the region.
Payet, for his side, appreciated ties between Erbil and Washington and underscored that the recent Peshmerga- anti-IS coalition shows the deep ties and cooperation between the forces, read the final statement of the meeting.
