Sadr and Allawi discuss government formation, manual recount of votes
The Leader of al-Sa’eroon and al-Watanyeh Coalitions held a meeting on Saturday and discussed the formation of the next Iraqi government and the manual recount of May 2 parliamentary elections.
Many political parties did not accept the result of the votes and frauds were reported in the election process.
Muqtada al-Sader, Sa’eroon Coalition leader, and Ayad al-Allawi, the leader of al-Watanyeh Coalition, held the meeting in the holy city of Najaf, Sadr office said in a statement.
According to the statement the two officials have also traded views on the political situation in Iraq.
