Erbil ties with Baghdad will be based on legal rights, official says
The Kurdistan Region Security Council Chancellor , Masrour Barzani, stated in a meeting with Italy’s new ambassador to Iraq that Erbil ties would the Iraqi central government in Baghdad would be based on Kurdistan Region’s legal rights.
Barzani stressed in the meeting with Jovana Lawns on fulfilling Iraq’s constitution and underscored on considering the demands and rights of all sides, tribes and religions in the country.
He further added that the Iraq’s political process has to return to its right track and Erbil relation with Baghdad would be with the government not people and individuals.
