Sharp increase in visa issuance to Kurdistan Region citizens
Iranian Consulate General in Sulaimani announced that visa issuance to citizens in Kurdistan Region experienced a 4-fold increase during the Iranian month of Mordad (July-Aug) compared with the same period last year, IRNA reported.
Referring to the increase in the number of requests for travelling to Iran over the past few months, the Iranian diplomatic mission said that 2,800 visas have been issued to Kurdish citizens during July-August period.
The Iranian consulate general underlined that Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan region are boosting cultural, economic and social relations.
