Official denies KDP, PUK deal over Iraq presidency post
A leading member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) denied reports that the party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) have made any deal on Iraq presidency post.
Ali Faili told al-Sumeryeh news that the presidency post belongs to Kurds but it does not mean it belongs to the KDP and PUK, denying any negotiation between the two parties over he issue and underlined that all Kurdistani parties can join negotiations over the post.
