Ayatollah Sistani calls for protests to be continue
Iraqi Prominent Shitte cleric Ayatollah Sistani expressed his support to protests in Iraq and stressed that their demands need to be fulfilled.
According to NRT Ahmad Safi, Sistani representative, voiced the cleric's concerns about the protests, quoting him as saying " the right needs to be taken and the protests, therefore, have to be continued."
Pointing to Iraq troubles and political, economic and social crises, the representative quoted Sistani as stressing that taking the rights and solving Iraq troubles can only be taken through controlled violence.
