Iraqi commission refutes rumors on manual recount results
Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission refuted, in a statement, the rumors lately made on social media concerning the results of the manual recounting in some provinces across the country.
Lais Jabir, a spokesperson for the electoral commission, said in the statement that the process of the manual recount is yet to be concluded, adding that any rumors in this regard on social media are baseless.
He noted that the final results from all the provinces will be announced at one time.
