Turkey sympathizes with Iran floods survivors

Turkish Ambassador to Tehran Derya Ors sympathized with bereaved families of the victims of the deadly floods in Iran.

Releasing a video on Thursday, Ors Turkish embassy on behalf of Turkey government had expressed readiness to help Iranian flood-hit brothers, Anadolu agency reported.

Turkish Red Crescent also dispatched five trailers together with a seven-member group to held Iranian people in north of the country,the envoy stated, noting that Iran is a powerful country and Turkey just helped to offer its sympathy with Iranians.

Stressing the importance of offering aids for Turkey, he said that Turkey rendered its assistance without any racial, religious or ethnic discrimination.

Earlier, Head of Golestan Red Crescent Society Mohammad Ali Heravi announced that, Turkey’s aids were distributed among people in Tazeh Abad Village, Aqqala City.

Unprecedented heavy rains caused floods in various parts of Iran over past two weeks. Scores of people were killed and 478 others were injured while a large number of people were displaced across Iran.
