Nechirvan Barzani, Dutch PM discuss bilateral ties

Kurdistan Region Premier Nechirvan Barzani met on Tuesday with his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte in the Netherlands for talks on bilateral ties between Erbil and Amsterdam.

"Glad to meet Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte today in the Netherlands, BasNews reported.
I expressed my appreciation to the Prime Minister for his country’s support to the Kurdistan Region and its military force, the Peshmerga, in the fight against IS terrorists," Barzani said on his Twitter account.
"We stressed on fostering bilateral relations in all fields, especially in economy,” Kurdistan 24 quoted the Kurdish premier, noting it was the first time he met with Rutte in The Hague .
"The meeting was good and will be the beginning of new cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Holland in particular, and with Iraq in general."
