Al-Nasr coalition to hold national meeting over government formation

The Coalition of al-Nasr, led by Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, plans to hold a meeting with the winners of May 2 Iraqi parliament election in order to pave way for the formation of the new government.

The Spokesman of the Coalition, Hussein al-Adeli, told al-Malomeh news agency that the coalition is to hold a meeting with the party winners in order to pave way for making agreement with the parties to form government, adding that 10 parties and blocs would participate in the meeting.

Al-Adeli further added that all sides, party and coalition leaders in Iraq are talking about the formation of a new government but the goal needs more time.
