Massoud and Nechirvan Barzani hold phone call with Muqtada Sadr

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader, Massoud Barzani, and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani make phone calls with Muqtada Sadr, the leader of Sadr Movement.

According to Rudaw the two Kurdish officials hold separate talks with Sadr whose Saeron Coalition won the majority of vote in Iraq parliament elections on Saturday, May 12.

According to the report Sadr office stated that the two Kurdish leaders have congratulated Sadr on the victory of his coalition.

According to unofficial results, Saeron has won the majorities of votes and has won most of the votes in 16 Iraqi provinces.
