Conference on Narrative across Literary Genres in pictures
The University of Kurdistan in Sanandaj, the capital of the Iranian northwestern province of Kurdistan, held the first national conference on narratives across literary genres on Wednesday, May 10.
The department of English Literature and Linguistics held the one-day conference in cooperation with Islamic World Science Citation Center, Iran Academy of Literary Criticism and the Scientific Society of the English Language and Literature of the university.
On Genre Theory, a book written by Seyyed Mehdi Zarghani and Mahmoud Reza Ghorban Sabagh was criticized and discussed by Zakaria Bezdodeh, an assistant professor of English language and literature, and Abulfazil Hori, also an assistant professor, before the ending ceremony at 6 p.m. local time.
The conference was held at the university’s Literature and Social Science College in four meetings, a key panel and a special panel.
