Underlining that all Muslims are a united nation, Muhammad Reza Rahimi, said the Muslim community needs to strengthen its relation.
He added the west and imperialist countries are attempting to divide Muslims on the national and racial pretexts.
He also criticized the countries that are fueling violence in Syria and said they want to achieve their ends through stoking tensions in Syria.
The Iranian Vice President appreciated Iraq’s stance towards Syria conflict and expressed his hope that Syrian people’s demand would come true through cooperation between the Islamic public of Iran and the Republic of Iraq.
Iraqi official, Rozh Nouri Shawis, in turn, called his visit to Iran and meetings with Iranian officials as positive and said he hopes the hurdles on more cooperation between Baghdad and Tehran are soon removed.
Underlining that Iraq is against any kinds of war and bloodshed, Shawais said: There should be efforts to end Syria conflict and find a peaceful solution to the crisis in the country.
Heading an economic delegation, Shawais arrived in Iran on Tuesday to discuss ways to enhance ties between the two neighboring states.
