Turkish warplanes hit Qandil Mountains
Arbil- The warplanes of Turkey bombed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) bases in Kurdistan Region late Wednesday into early Thursday.

Four Turkey jets have struck four locations around the Qandil Mountains, Dogan news agency said.

Some farms and orchards have been damaged in the attacks but PKK has suffered no casualties, AFP quoted a PKK member as saying.

The Turkish armed force has not made any statements regarding the outcome of the raid on the rural areas around the villages of Bermka Se Kani, sorgul and Bukrisrisa.

Meanwhile the director of Sidakan district in Kurdistan Region, Muhmmad Ismael expressed his concern about 100 Kurdish migrants settled in the Qandil Foothill areas and said: “The people are in real danger.”
