Fights break out at Syrian opposition meeting
Cairo- The Syrian opposition Tuesday meeting in Cairo ended in scuffles and fistfights between a Kurdish opposition part and some anti-president Bashar Al-Assad’s government, Reuters reported.

The scuffle broke out after the Kurdish group protested the meeting decisions they were against.

”we will not return to the conference and that is our final line. We are a people as we have language and religion and that is what defines a people,” said Morshed Mashouk, a leading member of the group that walked out of parliament in protest to not recognizing the Kurdish people in Syria.

The outburst lasted for minutes and Arab League General Secretary Nabil al-Arabi left the conference room in protest but returned the hall and the ending statement was announced at the end of the conference due to the tension.
