Talabani to head to Germany for medical tests
Baghdad- Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will head to Germany on Monday June 11 for medical tests after a statement from his office announced Saturday that the MPs’ signature to withdraw vote of confidence from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is less than 163 votes needed to ask parliament to vote Maliki out of office.

Talabani had a surgery in Germany last year and later went to the US for medical tests.

Jalal Sheikh Hessamaddin, known as Jalal Talabani, is the chief of Kurdistan Region’s Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) party that rules the region along with Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
