Talabani discusses withdraw vote with ruling party delegation
Sulaymaniyah- Iraqi president Jalal Talabani received a delegation from ruling State of Law Coalition on Wednesday in Sulaymaniyah.

Releasing a statement, president office said the delegation has visited Talabani for the 37th anniversary of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by Talabani, and wished more achievements and developments to the PUK.

The statement said the two sides discussed withdrawing confidence from Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and added Talabani has assured the delegation that he would not send the request to the parliament until he makes sure that all signatures are true.

For their part the delegation appreciated Talabani’s efforts to protect the constitution and preserve the gained achievement, the statement added.

Rivals of premier Maliki have accused him of consolidating power in Baghdad and held three separate meetings in Arbil, Najaf and Sulaymaniyah and consequently decided to withdraw their confidence from him through writing a letter to Talabani that has been signed by more than 170 parliament deputies and the president is considering the validity of the signatures.
