Council member Karwan Hashm said they will make sure five points raised during the party’s last statement will be raised as a goal of their meeting with the KDP, NRT reported.
The KDP called last month for a meeting between the Change Movement and the party.
The KDP said it supports the reactivation of parliament, reaching an agreement and a national consensus, adding that it believes it would be positive for parliament to be reactivated before the planned referendum on the independence of Kurdistan is held.
The Kurdistan Region’s political parties, not including the Change Movement (Gorran) and the Kurdistan Islamic Group (KIG), came to an agreement on June 7 to hold a referendum on the region’s independence this year on September 25.
