Ceasing flights on Kurdistan Region can be used as a pressure card against Erbil: deputy
A member of the Iraqi parliament stated that Baghdad can stop flights in Kurdistan Region as a pressure card against the region which is seeking to divide from Iraq.

Farhad Ghader, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), said in an interview with Kurdsat News that according to the Iraqi constitution the airspace of the country is under the control of the central government and therefore Baghdad can use it as a pressure card against Erbil and stop flights into the city as the capital of the region.

Reiterating that any putting any attempt into action needs enough studies, he warned the region to have its alternative against any possibilities.
