Kurdistan Region’s President Massoud Barzani, al- Iraqiya List leader Iyad Allawi, Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, Deputy Prime Minister Salih al-Mutlaq and some al-Ahrar bloc and KurdistanAlliance officials gathered in Arbil on Monday to discuss Iraq’s political crisis and the results of Najaf meeting held 2 week ago.

 During yesterday meeting the participating officials discussed the ways to lead Iraq out of the crisis, finding an immediate national solution and fulfilling the promised and agreed statements. The meeting also decided the gathering will continue until a final answer is found for the crisis.

The participating leaders in Arbil’s meeting accuse Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki of monopolizing power in Baghdad and have threatened withdrawing trust vote if the premier would not make reforms in his policies.
