Kurdistan Region referendum a U.S.-Zionist plot to divide Iraq: deputy
A parliament deputy from Iraq’s The State of Law Coalition stated that the upcoming referendum for independence of the Kurdistan Region in the north of Iraq is a U.S.-Zionist plot to divide the state.

Muhammad al-Sahiud told al-Qad Press News agency that the “illegal referendum of independence that the region is planning to hold is a plot by the U.S. and the Zionist regime to divide Iraq.

Reiterating that the West and the U.S. were seeking to divide Iraq through the networks of the IS, al-Qaeda and Jabhat al-Nusra, he added that a Wahabi-Zionist axis was formed following a conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and it is seeking to divide Iraq under the name of a post-IS plan.
