PKK carried out Kayseri suicide attack
Istanbul- Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) claimed the responsibility of a suicide car bomb attack in central Turkey on Thursday that killed one policeman and wounded 18 others.

A statement on PKK website took the responsibility and said the bombing had been a response to Turkey military attacks and rejected Turkey media claims that Ankara has been the target of the bombing.

Meanwhile Turkey Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin said on Friday that four suspects have been detained in connection with the attack and added that the bombers had entered Turkey from Syria.

The attackers passed the Pinarbasi police station and the bomb was detonated, Sahin said.

PKK and Turkey army clashes have stepped up since March and dozens have been killed since that time.
