Kurds back Abadi’s effort to unite Iraq: KDP official
The chief of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) faction in the Iraqi parliament stated that it backs Iraqi premier Haider al-Abadi’s effort for making unity in Iraq, adding that the country needs Abadi’s policy making.

According to al-Arabi al-Jadid daily, Arafat Karam told a press conference that Abadi’s policy making is something that Iraq needs in its internal and foreign policy, reiterating that the KDP has no compassion for Abadi.

Karam stressed that Kurds would undoubtedly back any Abadi’s effort to make unity in Iraq and establish a civil government in the country.
