Sistani office denies sending letter to Sadr
Baghdad- Iraqi supreme Shiite religious leader Ayatollah Ali Sistani Najaf office denied sending a letter to Sadr Movement leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, over withdrawing confidence from Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Quoting a source from Sistani office, Buratha Arabi website Sistani has not sent such a letter and the report is fake and fabricated.

The source advised media outlets to care more about the source of their reports and avoid from releasing baseless reports.

 Shafaq News website reported on Tuesday that Ayatollah Sistani sent a letter to Muqtada al-Sadr and asked him to stop making division among Iraqi Shiites and solve the political crisis” through dialogue and negotiation.

Quoting a source close to Sistani the website added thereligious leader has asked Iraqi blocs to find a solution to the problem and remove the obstacles instead of withdrawing confidence from Maliki.
