A Jaafari office statement said the Iranian official, accompanied by Iranian ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Danaie Far, discussed with Jaafari the ways to promote mutual cooperation in the fields of transportation, paving roads and establishing low-cost housing complexes.

The statement also added the Iranian minister has emphasized on the success of the discussions with the Iraqi sides concerning the railways networks and promoting communication.

Ties between the two neighboring countries of Iran and Iraq are increasingly promoting.

Earlier this week, Iran’s Radio and TV Broadcasting Head Izzatulah Zarghami visited Iraq and met the country’s president Jalal Talabani in Baghdad.

Accompanied by a delegation, the Iranian official expressed Tehran’s readiness to cooperate and provide assistance to all requirements of the Iraqi media centers.
