Iranian Kurdish musician Kayhan Kalhor wins Grammy Award with Silk Road
American-Chinese violin-cello player, Yo Yo Ma, and his group, Silk Road, won 2017 Grammy Award.

The Iranian Kurdish musician from Kermanshah, western Iran, Kalhor is a member of the group who won the award on Sunday January 12 in Stipples House in Los Angeles.

This was the 59th Grammy award. Yo Yo Ma won the award for his album, Sing Me Home.

Yo Yo Ma’s group is composed of a group of music players from different ethnics, something that has granted an international identity to the group.
