Iranian president and Iraqi VP discuss relations
Tehran- Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad received Iraqi vice president Khudayr al-Khuzai in Tehran on Saturday.

Ahmadi Nejad said Iran and Iraq are keen to expand their bilateral relations despite enemies’ efforts to hinder the two countries’ progress, Press TV reported.

He said: “There are no limits in boosting ties between the two countries in all fields including culture, science, technology, energy, development, trade and investment.”

Appreciating Iran’s support of Iraq and Iraqi people, al- Khuzai said: “we need to improve and develop our brotherly and friendly relationship.”

He also called on Iranian investors and businessmen to invest in Iraq and contribute to the reconstruction of Iraq.

During his stay in Tehran, the Iraqi VP held separate meeting with Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani, supreme National Security Council Secretary Saeed Jalili and some other high- ranking officials.
